Maryland Meet-up!

So Lauren and I have been discussing how we’ll find each other at MDSW. And how we’ll find everybody else as well!

Why not schedule a meet-up?!?

Let’s say, Saturday (because that’s when I’ll be there!) 12:30 PM. I looked at the schedule, and it seems to be a down time.

And we looked at the map, and Building 1 – where they sell the t-shirts – should be as good a location as any. This way we can all bring our sharpies and autograph each other’s t-shirts! How knitblogstalkerish of us all!

Be there or be square*. Sign up here and I’ll put your name in the sidebar! Just like a real KAL!

[*Just, whatever you do, don’t be bitter!]

Comments

  1. Ooh, sounds like fun. I’m jealous.

  2. Not bitter. Really. Not. But starting to get very. very. jealous!!! (Stupid law school. Stupid exam week. Stupid two closed-book exams. Make me study – I’ll show you!!)

  3. Stupid sheep, stupid wool, stupid Maryland. Ooops, not really, I didn’t really mean it about the sheep and wool.
You’ll have a nice little roll call of names there, Cara, so we’ll know who we can expect news and fiber thrills from! ; )

  4. I’ll be there! I bought my plane ticket and everything assuming I’d be able to persuade my knit-buds to come with me, and since it’s Mother’s day weekend, I’m on my own (my mom is a nurse, and is working on Mother’s Day). So it’s be fun to make some new friends!

  5. Darn! I can’t make it. I’ll be celebrating my niece’s 3rd birthday. Hope you guys have fun.

  6. Everyone is mentioning how they CAN’T come–where are the people that are coming? Of course, you will be missed… but who is coming??
C–love the signing the tee idea–very cool. 🙂

  7. Sadly, I will not be there to offer my belly to the greater good. You guys will have to take lots and lots of pictures. Maybe even some “snapshots”. Tehehehe

  8. I’ll be there, with several bloggy friends in tow!!!
You might want to contact Mia – she can post this info on her Sheep & Wool blog at: http://knitplawithfire.typepad.com/sheep_wool_2005/

  9. supposedly, we’re going…i really hope we do!

  10. I’m another one who won’t be there. Maybe next year, because it sounds like an awful lot of fun…

  11. Cara–I WANT TO MEET YOU!
There are at least 3 more names you can add to the list… I will email them to you soon, with their URLs.
Hope you have a good weekend 🙂

  12. OK, most of you don’t know me, because I’ve only been in the blogger world for a couple of months. So, read my blog so you know who I am when I get there, okay? I’ll be a long way from home, I’ll need friends.

  13. I’d love to meet up with you guys! I’m so glad that I decided to go this year, otherwise I’d be so jealous while reading everyone’s blogs.

  14. Oh, what a great idea! Love the t-shirt signing idea! (Ok, I wasn’t planning on getting a t-shirt, but now I guess I HAVE to!)

  15. Hi – I’ll be there. Coming from Richmond VA and I’ll have Rebecca (http://itgirl2.blogspot.com/) with me.
    See you there!

  16. I’ll be there! Is building 1 and the t-shirts the one that sells all the souveniers? I don’t have a map. Thanks, Jane

  17. I’ll be there!

  18. I’ll be there. See ya.

  19. I’ll definitely be there! It will be a challenge to keep my bf from wanting to sign everyone’s shirts, too. HAHA! Can’t wait to meet some new peeps!

  20. I’ll be there on Saturday. Two women from my knitting group graciously agreed to join me on my impromptu road trip to Maryland.

  21. I think we should be able to meet up. Me, my mom and my daughter Gracie…

  22. Thanks for organizing….I’ll be there.

  23. I will be there!

  24. I’ll be there with a broken elbow. Hard to miss me.

  25. I am a maybe for Saturday at 12:30. I am not sure how long I will be staying ther on Saturday. I will be there with Lolly on Sunday since I have a class at 1 pm.

  26. Hi! Thanks for organizing and letting me know! I’ve got purple hair, so I’m easy to spot — and I already know some of the folks meeting up. Looking forward to it, yay!

  27. Can’t wait; thanks for organizing!!
