  2. Wow – the texture on that cardigan is gorgeous – and where are we going with that mitered square??? have I missed something?

  3. Your cardigan photos are gorgeous, but I’m absolutely loving that mitred do-da at the top!?

  4. hmmmm….. you’ve been busy. Love the green! It is such a great color. The patter is beautiful! Is it thick? (bulky) I’m wondering if it’s a sweater or jacket. Either way it’s great.

  5. What *is* that thing?
I think I’m falling in love with all the texture in that cardigan. It’s well named, complex yet classic.

  6. Man, you do beautiful work!

  7. …and the enemas. Everything’s coming up Rome!

  8. students are wearing togas today at school. i feel like they should totally make that the new uniform. haha looks goregous!

  9. Oh pretty……the pretty, pretty ! …I am dissolved to pre-school language;)

  10. When cables (or would that be lace?) are blogged about, it makes me want to rub ’em! I love cables.
Please don’t show me a miter, it reminds mine that are banished to a corner.

  11. Oh that is coming a long lovely. I love the mitered corner. So are you trying to tell us something hummmm??? =)

  12. beautiful sweater. how many yards for the KH sweater of the OPAL sport?? sj

  13. I am so jealous of how neat your stitches look. Maybe I would put a little more effort into my knitting if I had more patience….can I borrow some of yours? My four year old has most of mine.
    Have a great day!

  14. I like it…what is it?

  15. A mitered corner? What’s it for? Have you been hiding something?

  16. Scary beauty. In my feverish fog, I read your title as “Beware the Ideas”. Maybe it’s true.

  17. Beware the mitered square – they are quick and satisfying, which in knitting terms means “highly addictive.” Is that a cotton/blend? I’m literally squirming in anticipation of my order from Blue Moon so I can get back to the miters…ahhh…the miters…

  18. Yep I see it. You had to have something stockenette (almost) to counteract the texture on the KH.

  19. Oh, that KH cardigan looks yummy. Just beautiful and I love that color.

  20. Ooh – that green is amazing. I didn’t imagine how nice it would look knit up. It’s simply fantastic.

  21. OOOOOooooohhhhh, purdy!

  22. Okay, so I am a geek, but I could completely see photo-shopping little knitters walking all over the KH cardi, chatting about their knits.

  23. Green, the color is a poem to me. Man, it’s lookin’ so fine.

  24. The nicest thing about your blog is that whatever you’re posting about, it looks so pretty. Even all those ends on your Shortrows sweater. The green here is just perfect.

  25. Only beauty to beware of here. Not much to be wary of, really! Except empty wallets!
    🙂
    xoxo

  26. The cardigan is beautiful. I want to knit one now!

  27. What terrific photos… how about a line of cards featuring such quality shots of KIPs?

  28. What is better to a knitter than a gorgeous yarn photo spread? Well, The beginning of an armhole, a beautiful mitered corner, and those cables – verily popping with definition from that yarn choice. Help me please!

  29. Kate looks fabulous 🙂

  30. That color green has to be the best ever….I LOVE it! I can’t wait to see this sweater finished!

  31. I smell a mitered square…….

  32. Lori in Michigan says

I’m inspired to write an Ode to the Green Cabled Lusciousness of the KH! Ok, not right now…but YUM-MEE!!

  33. Lovin the cardi!!!
