Have I mentioned how much I love my DVR? I mean really really really really really love it? I’ve have just wound and rewound and re-freaking-round the KISS!!!! OH MY GOD FINALLY MY FANTASIES HAVE BEEN FULFILLED!
And while I’m on the subject of TV, can I just say that THIS is the way a series is supposed to end? Everyone wants Josh and Donna together, so now that the series is ending, we can put them together. And they can ride off into the sunset. UNLIKE Gilmore Girls – that show should’ve ended with Luke and Lorelei kissing and Kirk running out of the inn naked. C’mon. You SO know what I’m talking about. And you know I’m right.
I will admit that Gilmore Girls is lagging just a bit, but I believe there is hope for them yet!
And DVR’s so rock! I’ve become so dependent on mine, that I find myself trying to push that little six second rewind button when I am listening to my car radio!
Can I say that I hate my Comcast box? The !@#$%^ box did not record the West Wing, and it is the second time it does, or better it does not do that! I lost the debate as well.
It’s like a sick joke – the recording is set, I check the box and it is there, I hit play and IT IS NOT THERE!
I hate my Comcast box.
To me, it wasn’t the kiss. It was the key. And the look after. I think I sighed audibly.
I dunno, I get kind of mad when I am emotionally manipulated in such a transparent way.
Except for the part about how I get all happy and excited too.
I am SO with you on Gilmore Girls!
I’m disappointed in GG this year, but it was wonderful last year–I wouldn’t have wanted to miss that season. So glad Rory’s back to herself, though, but Luke’s starting to bug me.
But it’s not as bad as WW has been the last few years. It’s still decent television, but it just doesn’t compare to the first few seasons. I’m glad Josh and Donna are finally seeing the light, but at this point, I almost don’t care anymore. It’s not like they’ve been doing that great bantering since she almost died in Israel….
I’m so glad about Josh and Donna. I’ve been watching the West Wing on DVD, but so far I’ve only watched through the middle of season 2. I love Josh and Donna.
The Gilmore Girls used to be my favorite show. This of course, was before Grey’s Anatomy, and also before it started to be less than fabulous. I still watch it regularly, but I just don’t really like Rory anymore. Is it just me, or does she still act like a fifteen-year-old? I still love the Grandma though. She’s the best.
I know you’re right about the Gilmore Girls, but I can’t stop myself from watching.
The WW lost me, literally, when it moved to Sunday. It had been a little lame and I didn’t miss it much but I’m happy to hear that Josh & Donna finally got together. I do have to say that I LOVE my TIVO. It rocks!
Love, love, LOVE The West Wing. I’m a DC gal and I got to see some of the filming just a few weeks ago and got to meet Bradley Whitford (Josh). Soooooo cute and great!
ok, so I think this is the first time I have left a comment, and it’s about tv… who have i become? Anway, ya Josh and Donna, cool, and you know the Gilmore Girls still COULD be cool, at least I tell myself that everytime I watch it. It’s always sad when the very few things I like to watch run their course and go the way of so many other really great shows…
P.S. I don’t have DVR, I watch “live” or wait for the DVD.
I’m stuck waiting for a rerun myself! I’ve been a hard core WW watcher since its first season but I’ve missed a lot this year between moves and giving up our cable and DVR.
Now that we’re out of rural hell, and back in civilization, I COULD get cable again, and a dvr, but I sorta like not having the expense every month.
I’ve been wanting Josh and Donna to hook up since the beginning. I totally heart Donna. Not just her character, but that her character is from Madison WI (in real life Bradley Whitford is from Madison) and Madison is my adopted hometown!
time to de-lurk i guess…love the blog btw.
i have to disagree about the josh and donna…i had to turn away, i’ve definately been in the other camp this whole time! ack…i just don’t see it.
i am super excited though that mary-louise parker will be making a return, now there was a couple i could get behind. i (heart) amy and josh!
I loved Sunday’s West Wing too, and am so sad that it took the show ending so that the writers could finally let something happen between those two.
Did ya see the previews for the last few episodes? Sam is coming back!
I know this is a bit of a late message for this post, but speaking of TV… Cara, did you see 24??? Are you OK? Because I’m still in shock. Dare I say it since you might have it on TiVo. But, when you see it, all I have to say is, “I know. I know.”
