This marks the 999th entry on this blog.
And to celebrate that and the upcoming demise of Bloglines, I’ve decided to join the 21st Century.
I have started a Facebook page and a Twitter account for January One. They will be fairly redundant, so if you hate Facebook and love Twitter, or vice versa, you will be covered.
I’m not taking down the blog, but my time here will be severely limited. If you’re still reading you already know that. Both Facebook and Twitter are platforms I can easily access with my phone, so the easier the better. I’m eager to regain a connection to a community I can call my own. I hope you’ll join me on this next adventure.
Oh and dear God I pray there’s knitting.
Thank you!
Bye Bye! It was nice reading you, and so wonderful to see your pictures. Good luck with the new ventures, with the little ones, and with your knitting.
Happy 999! And welcome to the 21st century…
will we be as deeply in love in this strange new universe?
I have really enjoyed your blog and many times found myself staring at your beautiful photographs. I will miss you and them. Sadly I am not a twitter or facebook kind of girl. Maybe I will catch you on Ravelry? Good luck and blessings to you and yours…
Congrats on so many blog posts! I’ve enjoyed reading you and hope you will occasionally post here, too, as I am not on Facebook (mostly ’cause I don’t have time for it and I prefer the format of blogs) or Twitter (mostly ’cause I don’t have a good phone to accommodate it or the time to keep up with the constant updates/tweets/distractions). Still, I will check this site from time to time and hope that you have left us a crumb.
Hope the new baby and your entire family are well!
I thought I was going to miss BlogLines fiercely -but the blogosphere has changed so much in the past 2 years that I doubt I will. I’m setting up those “can’t miss” blogs on Morning Cup – and finding that I can list most of them as “read on the weekend” anymore.
Adding your FB page… And please -for BOTH of us- let there be knitting in the future.
I’m glad you aren’t taking this blog down. I use it for inspiration and information. I’d hate to see it go. But I love the idea of hearing from you more often so hooray for FB and Twitter.
Yay! Adding your FB page…
I love blogs but I LOVE facebook so I hope you add me! I will also miss your pictures and knitting news.
I hardly ever blog anymore, so didn’t even include my blog URL. Yay for setting up a FB page and Twitter. I love both and tend to spend most of my time there as well. Take care and hope there is knitting in your future!
*sigh* This makes me feel like such a dinosaur!! LOL
I am still blogging (365 days this year, actually). I cant find the time to tweet/twit/twatter/whatever, and I’m on Facebook, but I kinda cant stand it LOL. I am such a crumudgeon!!!
Good luck in your next set of adventures, and keeping connected with community! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your journey with us. I was actually looking for your cards. I love the colourful pictures of knitting you have done. Where can I buy them?
