Right Now

outside my window:

I just love seeing the pool filled with snow. It’s so ironic. When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was put on my glasses and bound over to the window to check out how much snow we got! And are still getting! Of course then I was deeply disappointed by the fact that I’m no longer ten. And I won’t be having a snow day. The grind calls and, alas, I must answer. I may bundle up and go for a walk though. I’ll take the camera with me, if I dare. Time to get out the plastic wrap! 😉

Have a great day! I hope there’s something fun, like snow, where you are!

  1. Great pictures! Alas we only get snow once a year (if that) here in Atlanta. But when we do get snow everybody gets a snow day!!

  2. Aw, I love the snow-covered play structure. We had just a little bit of snow and now the sun is shining on & off (blinding when it’s “on”) and there’s wind so it’s blowing all over. I want a snow day in the WORST way!

  3. So pretty! I love the snow-and-train shot. Hope you get to enjoy it some more before it turns slushy!

  4. Hey, you have a train by your place, too!
It’s snowing here, too. Alas no snow day.

  5. Hi Cara…boy I’ve missed alot in the last couple weeks. You’ve been a busy girl, haven’t you?! Love your new socks that rock! I gotta get me some of that! The snow is beautiful isn’t it. Although here in Maryland, it is turning to slush quick. All of the kids are coming in and out w/their wet clothes. Ahhhh.. to be young again. Have a great weekend!

  6. The snow is just too pretty. I love it. I loved it when I lived by the Smokey Mountains in Tennessee. Now I live in the Lone Star State of Texas, where it is flat, hot and muggy. Ugggh!!! I won’t use the word hate, but I really can’t stand it. Not only the weather but also the place. Anywho…. Love the snow pictures…. makes me want to go home, light the fireplace, make a hot cup of tea, knit, and watch tv….except, I live in an apartment, have no fireplace, it’s too hot to drink hot tea, but I still can knit and watch TV. 🙂

  7. You should go out doors and act like you are 10. Throw a few snowballs at a wall. You’ll feel so much better and the crisp air will revive you.

  8. do you plastic wrap your camera? what about the lens?

  9. Oh how I love the snow! Enjoy!

  10. i j’adore snow! now the sun’s out and melting away all that hard work mother nature did this morning. i hope you got a chance to go out and roll about a bit this morning! Nothing like throwing a few snowballs to make the spirit bright 😉

  11. Your So Lucky! We were supposed to get snow but got a lot of rain instead. I’m so jealous!

  12. We had snow on Monday and ice today. (Our ice is your snow). I, too, am a ten year old when it snows. I seriously consider moving north a state or two so I can get more of it…. Enjoy!

  13. That snow is wonderful!!! I just love it all white outside and cozy warm inside. The perfect knitting, coffee drinking, movie watching criteria!
By the way, are you still running?

  14. Gail Lucille says

Woo Hoo on the Snow, can you make us a Snow Angel..
would love a photo of that…
