Be there AND be square.

So in about an hour I’m heading out to Ann’s so we can go pick up Vicki at the airport. Vicki doesn’t know I’m coming out today – she thinks they’re picking me up tomorrow – so SHHHHHHHH. We get an extra slumber party night!! YAY!

I’m a square both Saturday and Sunday at Rhinebeck. I’ll be carrying that lovely tote bag up there. The knee socks are ready. The Almost Everyday has been shaved within an inch of its life (and I’m still finding fucking pills.) The Soundtrack has been burned, in more ways than one. Don’t ask.

If you need to know what I look like, you can check here or here or even here. I won’t be wearing the fancy dress but you might catch me in a skirt. I may have found a way to make the knee highs work. (At least G approved.)

Regarding the meet-up – I’m sorry if I didn’t get your name up on the list – that doesn’t mean you can’t come – PLEASE – COME! EVERYONE IS WELCOME! IT’S NOT JUST FOR BLOGGERS! (Info in the sidebar.)

See you on the FLIP!

Rhinebeck fever has struck in Brooklyn as well, we were all talking about it last night at my SnB. I’m *thisclose* to being ready…just have to finish a Jaywalker. See ya there!

  2. I’m leaving Denver on a red-eye flight tonight…I can’t remember why we decided to do this, but it had something to do with having more time to knit and buy yarn. 🙂 See you on Saturday!

  3. See you tomorrow! (And I love the Almost Everyday — so comfy.)

  17. Have a fab time Cara! Next year…I’m definitely going : )

  18. Of course STR sold out quickly. You totally ensured a freakin’ feeding frenzy with your recent entry. Rumor has it that they only had 3 pieces of lightweight sock yarn at 10 a.m. At $21 a pop, it would have been nice to actually *see* some of this product rather than rely on the colors on a computer monitor. Yeah, I know it’s sour grapes, but greed really galls. Except for this, I have regularly enjoyed reading your blog.

  19. Aha. I stumbled upon your blog during my morning websurfing ritual and just had to say OOOOMG!!! 🙂 I LOVE BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN too. I’ve chatted with him a couple of times and the shows are indeed a religious experience.
I want to knit a pair of Jaywalkers but I was reading a few things about sizing….
    I’ll be back..

I was only able to make it on Sunday and only saw you in passing while you were in the midst of a conversation and didn’t want to interrupt… and of course i was rushing off ot fit in as much as possible in a very short day!
(I had an exam in class on saturday, so i couldn’t leave from boston until class was out after 4pm)
    anyways. next time. 🙂
the bloggers that i did meet got to meet me as Lyssa, currently blogless
